MLB Rookie League

Major League Baseball has over 200 minor league teams to develop players for the “Big Show”.  Rookie league plays near the end of the major league season.  However, these are training games.  The are played at spring training facilities and on the back fields of those facilities.  Parking and admission is free.  However, since these are training games everything in the stadium is closed except for the bathrooms.  The stands have various people evaluating these players.  Rookie league is for players with under three years experience.  Occasionally, you’ll find a major league player who is rehabbing an injury stepping in for a couple of innings.
